It plays best with cheap creatures and fliers, but its just a generally high power level card

If that creature's power is less than 2 when it enters the battlefield but becomes greater than 2 after the ability triggers, you will still put two counters on it

Its hard to deny what was otherwise an excellent set was completely smothered by the fervour surrounding the card, but finally its all over

Unsurprisingly, the top chase card from that set is one of the beloved shocklands that provide two colors of mana and ping you for two if you want them to enter untapped
